Nothing is the same as a warm and cozy hug when you’re grieving. I wanted to create something that would allow a mom to wrap herself up in warmth and safety as a reminder of the soft landing she has in the Lord. As I was crocheting each shawl, I was praying for the mother that would eventually receive it, asking the Lord to use it as a tool to remind her of His love in the midst of her grief and to remember that God is Provider, Jireh, and He is big enough to comfort her in her grief.
