If youβre not a believerβ¦
β¦Todayβs post is for you.
I know that if youβre looking into the Christian faith, asking questions, trying to see what everything means, I know it can be overwhelming. I know it can be confusing at times. I have been there many times myself.
I have something to share with you today that I think may help you. I was reading the book of Isaiah today and came across this verse:
You see, God knows the path that Heβs calling us to is so contrary to our nature, so different than what weβre used to. As much as we hate to admit it, our natural inclination in this world is to sin, so the way of the Lord, the way of righteousness, goes against every fiber of our being. He knows that following Him is a struggle.
But the good news is God is faithful to walk with us through this uncharted territory. He will not forsake us in the middle of following His path. He will not leave us alone to try and figure it out. The beautiful thing about being a believer in Christ is also knowing that He will now be with you wherever you go.
So if youβre seeking Christ and youβre unsure about how to do it, or where to go, let me reassure you that I think thatβs the point. If we knew all the answers and had everything figured out then why would we need Christ? He desires a life where He walks alongside us and Heβll be faithful to show us where to go when itβs time.
If this is where you are today, can I just encourage you to dive in? Can I encourage you to say yes even though itβs scary? God doesnβt want you to figure it all out without Him. He wants to walk with you through it. He will be faithful to His word. But you have to take that first leap of faith and say βyes.β
